Most frequent questions and answers
Safety is our top priority. The National Axe Throwing Federation sets guidelines for axe throwing, pit dimensions, and safety parameters, which we follow carefully. Each throwing lane has a safety cage. Our Axe Masters give safety orientations and throwing tutorials to participants, and our trained staff oversees the lanes. And, if you’re not playing by the rules, we’ll boot ya.
60 minutes of lane time, including a short orientation with your Axe Master.
Due to safety concerns, only Axe Garage equipment is allowed.
-Drinks, no. We have a full bar that includes sodas, beer, and liquor.
Absolutely! We always welcome spectators. However, due to our limited space, we may ask you to move off to the side or stay in the bar area.
We are currently run rec leagues on our Projected Target lanes during the Fall and Winter seasons.
We allow axe throwing for ages 12-20, as long as they are accompanied by their parent, legal guardian, or spouse of legal drinking age. Please understand this is in accordance with Sec. 125.07(3), Wis. Stats.
No, we do not – no exceptions. Any behavior that puts any patrons at risk will result in immediate expulsion from our venue.
Due to safety concerns, only Axe Garage equipment is allowed.
You must participate in the Axe Master training before you can handle an axe. If your whole group is late, the Axe Master can do the orientation when you arrive, but you will lose more of your reserved lane time. If a member of your group misses the Axe Master training, he/she can purchase another one for $10 upon arrival.
